Josiane creates work based on observing and documenting the natural world around her. This recent body of work, created in direct response to actual historical events, focuses on lambs and sheep. Shaped by humans through selective breeding, the symbolic nature of these animals has introduced an unexpected yet welcome conceptual area of exploration for Josiane, which she is excited to investigate further. We're delighted to present this fresh perspective and look forward to the next iteration.
