Utilizing ceramics, discarded objects, and construction materials to make works, my art practice attempts to find connections between craft, escapism, and emotional awareness. It is an investigation of fantasy and formal aesthetics with consideration to how those perspectives and acts may relate to privilege and trauma. Through the development of research, drawings, and sculptures, my works reference geomythology, as well as sci-fi and fantasy settings, spaces, figures, and imagery.
