Alex Odeh  1944-1985

Dedicating his life to social justice and the peace and resolution of the Israeli - Palestinian conflict, Alex Odeh joined the ADC (American-Arab Anti- Discrimination Committee) in 1982, and became the west coast regional director of the organization.  Odeh fought tirelessly to build inter-faith unity between Jews, Muslims and Christians in Southern California, until his assassination in a terrorist attack on October 11, 1985.  Odeh’s killers fled to Israel where they have avoided prosecution and extradition to this day.
